INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COLLECTORS
CHAPTER # 34, inc CUB CADETS.
ARTICLE 1 – Dedication and Purpose
Section 1 to create a specialty Chapter of the International Harvester Collectors Club, Inc., for the purpose of expanding membership.
Section 2 to promote I.H. collecting, restoration and show displays through communication among members.
Section 3 to preserve, research and complete the history of the International Harvester Company.
Section 4 To provide activities for the sharing of information, ideas and
camaraderie for Chapter members.
Section 5 to offer the host Chapter(s) of Red Power Roundup assistance in the
Cub Cadet Corral. If requested.
ARTICLE 2 – Organization Cub Cadets.
Section 1 the official name of the organization shall be International Harvester Collectors, Chapter # Cub Cadets.
Section 2 The official identification shall be the approved International Harvester Collectors’ logo, to be used worldwide. A Chapter # of 34 will be affixed with the logo to identify the Chapter.
Section 3 identifying number 34 has been assigned to this Chapter by the International Harvester Collectors’ Club, INC., identifying it as the Cub Cadets Chapter of the International HARVESTER Collectors INC
Section 4 Chapter is to be self-sufficient through collection of dues and other activities as approved by the (after beingapproved by the membership.
Section 5 Chapter officers and directors will be empowered and required to enforce Club and Chapter Bylaws.
ARTICLE 3 – Leadership
Section 1 International Harvester Collectors, Chapter # 34, INC. Cub Cadets shall have a Board of Nine Directors. The officers may or may not be directors.
Section 2 Directors shall be elected for three years terms, three being reelected each year ata Meeting, to be determined by the membership The first nine directors shall draw lots for one, two and three year terms. A Nominating Committee of one Director and two Advisors shall obtain candidates for Directors. Candidates may also be nominated from the floor. If for any reason a director is unable to fulfill their term, a substitute-replacement shall be appointed by the board to fill the remainder of their term.
Section 3 The directors shall meet when necessary to keep the membership in compliance with the national and chapter bylaws. or as needed between membership meetings, to take care of business, that has deadlines before the next membership meeting.
Section 4 The directors shall see that membership roles, files of member collections are maintained. The directors shall be responsible for the development and maintance of the chapter.
Section 5 All Directors, including the chairman, shall have one vote on any motion. A majority of affirmative votes from the Directors present, but not less than five (5) votes shall be required to pass any motion, regardless of the number of Directors in attendance
Section 6 The Directors shall vote on the
Amendments to the Bylaws, which shall then require approval by the membership at the next regular meeting thereafter. A 2/3 majority of the members present are required for approval and/or Amendments to the Bylaws.
Section 7 The Directors shall seek and appoint Advisors as needed, (people specializing in specific areas of the hobby), to act as consultants, contributors of ideas and to adequately represent all areas of the Chapter, after being asked by the membership.
ARTICLE 4 – Officers
Section 1 Officers shall be elected by the membership at the meeting, where it has been decided, by the membership.
Section 2 Officers shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Section 3 Officers’ term of office shall be for 1 year.
Section 4 Duties of the Officers shall be as follows:
The President shall preside over all meetings and
Organized commettees.
The Vice-President shall function as President in his/her absence and oversee all committees to
insure success.
The Secretary shall keep minutes of all meetings, read the minutes of the previous meeting, read all
important correspondence, take charge of all documents of the Chapter and preside in the absence of the
President and Vice-President to insure continuity in an emergency. If he/she so desires, they may appoint
someone to take the meeting minutes.
The Treasurer shall maintain an accurate and business like record of financial activities, shall be in
charge of the Chapter’s funds, shall make deposits and dispersals of same, and shall make an annual detailed
financial report to the membership.
ARTICLE 5 – Membership and Voting
Section 1 Membership shall be open to anyone having an interest in International Harvester products. All members are expected to participate in their Chapter and to attend meetings whenever possible.
Section 2 Chapter dues shall be $10.00 per year and may be adjusted as needed. Chapter members must also
be members of International Harvester Collectors INC. and annual dues must be paid to the Club in addition to
the Chapter dues. Chapter dues run from October 1 to September 30, are due in October, and will be delinquent in
status after December 31 each year. Members in delinquent status are not afforded membership privileges,
including voting power.
Section 3 One membership shall allow a husband or wife one vote at meet Section 4 Elections and
Amendments to Bylaws shall be voted by ballot; all other motions by a show of hands.

ARTICLE 6 – Meeting
Section 1 There shall be quarterly meetings of the Chapter to be held at a mutually agreed location by the
membership. Meetings will be held on a days that have been agreed upon by the membership and they must be
agreed upon by the last meeting before the end of our year (September 30) for the folling year, and a yearly
calander of events will be provided to eacj member.
Section 2 The Directors shall meet as necessary.
Section 3 The Chapter may designate one of its Quarterly Meetings as an Annual Convention Meeting to be
held in conjunction with an I. H. Feature at a different host show in the area each year. The Chapter may have other
get-togethers as desired, but must designate same as being Chapter activities.
ARTICLE 7 – Support
Section 1 The oficers and Directors of the Chapter shall assist other Chapters with member lists for shows,
organizing, ect. All members shall encourage and assist in the formation of other new Chapters in any area where
members permit.
Section 2 Chapter members under the Club logo will be required to hold membership in the INTERNATIONAL
HARVESTER COLLECTORS CLUB INC.
Section 3 The Chapter will be required to finance its own activities with no subsidy to or from general membership of the INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COLLECTORS CLUB INC.
Section 4 The Chapter and its Bylaws must be approved by the INTERNATINAL HARVESTER COLLECTORS CLUB
INC. Directors in order to be a Sanctioned Chapter.
ARTICLE 8 – Host Show Rules
Section 1 Host Shows will supply all advertising
Section 2 Host shows will be required to have a rider on their liability insurance to cover INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COLLECTORS, CHAPTER #34 INC. for liability. Chapter 34 will not hold any tractor pulls, tractor rides or hay rides unless there becomes a rulling from the national directors, different than the 2008 rules from the insurance carrier.
Section 3 Host Shows will provide a place to have the Meeting for the Chapter.
ARTICLE 9 – Dissolution
Section 1 In the event that INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COLLECTOR, CHAPTER # 34 INC. Cub cadets should for any reason dissolve or disband, the monies which remain shall be donated to the INTERNATIONAL HARVESTOR COLLECTORS CLUB INC, general treasury.

Statement of Purpose, and Members Agreement
As enthusiasts and collectors of “International Harvester” products, we join together as members of “International Harvester Collectors INC. an association formed for the following reasons.
1.) To establish the “International Harvester Collectors” logo as an identity to which I.H. enthusiasts can relate.
2.) To promote I.H. collecting, restoration, and show displays through communication among members.
3.) To help preserve, research, and complete the history of the International Harvester Company.
4.) To aid in developing more complete I.H. displays by establishing a file of members show pieces, for use by featuring shows.
5.) To hold an annual convention each year, in conjunction with an IH. feature at a different host show each year.
